year when help is especially needed

December 19, 2008


This is the time of year when most of us open our checkbooks to send gifts to nonprofit groups that help those in our community who most need it.

Or we buy groceries for the island’s food pantries or toys and clothing for children who might otherwise go without.

And, if ever there was a time to help your neighbors, this year is it.
